Terrie has a monumental success story that ties back to my body of work here at ziminvestors.com. I had visited my mother in Mutare when we set down for more than an hour and laid down the plan and process that led to this successful potato yield.
Besides potato farming, Terrie is in the process of establishing a piggery business. I was on the phone with Terrie last night and asked him what led to the successful potato yield. “Ask! Ask! Ask!” was his response but he gave a disclaimer. He gave me how different the advice he got from my team was from what others would sometime say. It didn’t always happen but he said sometimes it would and he would ask an experienced neighboring potato farmer and always his advice was in tandem with ours. I explained to him that what we tell farmers when we consult is after a hours and seasons of field work coupled with researches we do and consultation with expert academics and experienced commercial farmers who have a wealth of experience under the sleeve and know almost everything there is about potato production or any product we will be dealing with.
